Nice Italian place I found today. The inside is very nice and everyone was very friendly. The bartender recommended I combine two half portions of the pasta dishes. I got the lasagna and manicotti. It was very good. I would return for sure.
The food is great, especially the fresh bread and the alfredo sauce.I see some customers did not like the tomatoe sauce,it has some sweetness to it but this is why I like it better than other italian restaurants, but I agree it is a preference.I had tried multiple dishes all good. The only dish I felt needs adjustment is the Chicken parmeasan as with the breading, sauce and cheese,it tastes a little salty. But otherwise all the food I tried is fresh and tasty.
The first thing I'll say is you definitely get your money's worth. The portions are huge. I received enough chicken alfredo to eat three separate meals, a salad, and a loaf of bread that was the size of a small head of lettuce. I didn't even know the bread and salad came with it. I ordered extra alfredo just because I like a lot of sauce. The noodles were chewy slightly al dente in the sauce was creamy. I needed a little more pepper so I added that myself. The whipped butter that came with the bread was a nice touch also. The service is always really quick and comes with a smile. The lemon cake was slightly tart and had some bounce. Yummy. Take out is always quick but dining in can make you feel like you've escaped to Italy if you don't look out the window. Haha. It's a great restaurant it's got plenty of parking it's easy to get in and out of and there are a lot of tables. You expect them to be on the main street and they are not but they are right by the railroad tracks so they're easily markable.
Great Italian place! Service was quick and friendly, shrimp tetrazzini was so rich with very generous portions. Atmosphere is "upscale casual" if that's a thing. Will be back.
Wow I miss living near this place. We drove over an hour to come back here and it's as amazing as we remember. The cheese dip is a must! Imagine Italian queso. The sauce is sweet and PERFECT! I'm obsessed with the baked manicotti! The grand blanc location is far more modern looking than the flint location. The service is great Must try!
